Our Castor Oils Offerings
At Marilink Exports, we bring you the finest grades of Castor Oil — versatile, reliable, and processed to meet the demands of industries worldwide. Sourced from premium castor seeds and refined with precision, our castor oils are known for their high ricinoleic acid content, viscosity, and stability, making them ideal for use in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, lubricants, coatings, and industrial applications.
Cold-Pressed Castor Oil

Cold-Pressed Castor Oil is extracted from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant using a mechanical pressing process without heat or solvents. This traditional method ensures the oil retains its full nutritional profile — making it the purest and most nutrient-rich form of castor oil available.
Dehydrated Castor Oil

Dehydrated Castor Oil (DCO) is a specially processed derivative of castor oil where moisture is removed through controlled heating, resulting in a semi-drying oil with enhanced film-forming and polymerization properties. Unlike regular castor oil, DCO behaves like traditional drying oils (e.g., linseed oil) and is widely used in industries requiring fast-drying, flexible coatings and finishes.
Hydrogenated Castor Oil

Hydrogenated Castor Oil (HCO), also known as Castor Wax, is a hard, brittle, odorless, and non-toxic wax derived by hydrogenating pure castor oil in the presence of a catalyst. Through this process, the unsaturated bonds in ricinoleic acid are fully saturated, enhancing the oil’s oxidative stability, melting point, and shelf life.
Due to its unique combination of hardness and emulsifiability, HCO is a vital ingredient across industries such as cosmetics, plastics, lubricants, and coatings, where it serves as a stabilizer, thickener, or release agent.
Pharmaceutical Grade (USP/BP)

Pharmaceutical Grade Castor Oil, also referred to as USP (United States Pharmacopeia) / BP (British Pharmacopeia) Grade, is a highly refined, colorless, and odorless oil derived from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. It undergoes a strict refining, bleaching, and deodorizing process to meet the purity and safety standards required for medical and pharmaceutical applications.
First Special Grade (FSG)

First Special Grade (FSG) Castor Oil is the most widely used industrial-grade castor oil, renowned for its clarity, consistency, and high ricinoleic acid content. It is obtained through pressing and subsequent refining of castor seeds, ensuring removal of impurities while retaining its powerful functional properties.
Sulfonated Castor Oil

Sulfonated Castor Oil, commonly known as Turkey Red Oil (TRO), is a unique derivative of castor oil produced by treating it with sulfuric acid or sulfated ash, introducing sulfonic groups that make the oil dispersible in water. This transformation creates an anionic surfactant with excellent emulsifying, wetting, and lubricating properties.
Blown Castor Oil

Blown Castor Oil, also known as Oxidized Castor Oil, is a modified form of castor oil obtained by slowly blowing air (oxygen) through castor oil at elevated temperatures. This controlled oxidation process increases the oil’s viscosity, film-forming ability, and chemical reactivity, making it highly suitable for coatings, inks, lubricants, and plasticizer applications.
Jamaican Black Castor Oil

Jamaican Black Castor Oil (JBCO) is a unique, traditionally-crafted variety of castor oil that originates from Jamaican ancestral practices. Unlike cold-pressed castor oil, JBCO is made by roasting castor beans, grinding them into a paste, boiling them in water, and then manually extracting the oil. The resulting oil is dark, thick, and ash-rich — known for its deep nourishing, strengthening, and revitalizing effects.
